Yes. A physician’s lab order is required for any blood collection, that’s a legal requirement, not a Medorae policy. Have it ready (digital or paper) at your appointment and we’ll handle everything from there, including delivery to the lab specified by your doctor.
Quest Diagnostics is our primary partner because of their broad test menu and rapid turnaround. However, we can deliver to any certified diagnostic center your physician designates, LabCorp, hospital-affiliated labs, or specialty reference labs. Just include the lab’s name when you book and we’ll confirm logistics.
Basic visits start at $40. Same-day priority is $55. After-hours, weekends, and urgent visits are $65. Corporate and group visits receive per-person discounts. See the full breakdown on our services page or reach out for a custom quote
Lab tests and collection fees are billed separately. Your lab (e.g. Quest) bills your insurance directly for the testing portion. The mobile draw fee is paid to Medorae. See the full breakdown on our services page or reach out for a custom quote
Most routine appointments are under 15 minutes from arrival to completion. Specialty draws like glucose tolerance tests run longer because of the timed sample intervals, we’ll always tell you in advance so you can plan your day around it.
Yes, on both counts. All our phlebotomists are nationally certified, background-checked, and use FDA-cleared single-use equipment. Patient data is handled under HIPAA-compliant protocols with documented audit trails, and our operations are fully insured.
Results go directly from the lab to your ordering physician, typically within 1-3 business days for routine panels, longer for specialty tests. Your doctor’s office will share results with you through their patient portal, by phone, or at your next visit, depending on their workflow.
Absolutely, this is one of our core services. We offer one-time, recurring, and weekly scheduled visits for assisted living communities, memory care units, group homes, and skilled nursing facilities. Reach out for a custom service plan with consolidated scheduling and billing.
Only if your physician has ordered a fasting test (most commonly lipid panels, glucose, or comprehensive metabolic panels). Your doctor’s order will indicate this. As a general rule, ‘fasting’ means no food or drink other than water for 8-12 hours. Always confirm with your provider.
Our team specializes in challenging draws, including pediatric, geriatric, oncology recovery, and patients with naturally small or scarred veins. We use small-gauge butterfly needles when appropriate and prioritize single-stick technique.
Yes. A family member, caregiver, friend, or facility staff member is welcome to be present at any time. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present and provide consent before the draw begins.
Just call or email us. We don’t charge a fee for cancellations made at least 12 hours in advance. Same-day cancellations may incur a small dispatch fee.
